One Lovely Blog Award

Two lovely friends nominated me for the One Lovely Blog Award!

What’s that? you ask. I had no idea, but it sounded really cool. As it turns out, Becca Schriner and Kate G. Jameson threw my hat into the ring for an award that recognizes sweet, young blogs.

Of course, there are rules.

  • Thank the person that nominated you and leave a link to their blog
  • Post about the award
  • Share 7 facts about yourself
  • Nominate at most 15 people
  • Tell your nominees the good news!

1  Thursdays are my jam. #weekendeve

2  As copywriter for Victorian Trading Co., I learn all sorts of err. . . fascinating things about the most “romantic” era.

3  I’ve always been partial to poppies and their fancier cousin anemones. But I’ve been rethinking them. You see, according to my research of Victorian flower language, my favorite flowers mean death and bad luck.

Not really a bouquet I want to receive.

4  Actor interviews are a guilty pleasure. Robert Buckley and Missy Peregrym’‘s are the best. They’re characters themselves!

5  To me, the best pairing with Mexican is orange juice.

6  I have sass mouth in a bad way.

7  Dad forbid me from watching The Wizard of Oz. However, I saw Jurassic Park and Rambo before I was five. . . I think that explains a lot.

That’s enough about me. My more worthy nominees are (drum roll) Becca Schriner’s Extraordinary Young Women, Kate G. Jameson’s Fairy Tales & Fantasy, Katelyn Bolds’ The Bold Life and Alycia Timm’s Just be Lovely.

Speaking of. . . What other blogs do you read?

My name is Nichole—Nichole Parks. Not to be confused with Nicholas Sparks. Nicky boy handles the drama. And me? I take on the trauma. Dark humor is my specialty.
